Abstract
The significance of earth observation data spans diverse fields and domains, driving the need for efficient management. Nevertheless, the exponential increase in data volume brings new challenges that complicate processing and storing data. This article proposes an optimized multi-modular service for earth observation data management in response to these challenges. The suggested approach focuses on choosing the optimal configurations for the storage and processing layers to improve the performance and cost-effectiveness of managing data. By employing the recommended optimized strategies, earth observation data can be managed more effectively, resulting in fast data processing and reduced costs.

Abstract
The main objective of the present paper is to report two studies on mathematical and computational techniques used to model the behaviour of the aorta in the human cardiovascular system. In this paper, an account of the design and implementation of two distinct models is presented: a Windkessel model and an agent-based model. Windkessel model represents the left heart and arterial system of the cardiovascular system in the physiological domain. The agent-based model offers a simplified account of arterial behaviour by randomly generating arterial parameter values. This study has described the mechanism how and when the left heart contracts and pumps the blood out of the aorta, and it has taken the Windkessel model one step further. The results of this study show that the dynamics of the aorta can be explored in each modelling approaches as proposed and implemented by our research group. It is thought that this study will contribute to the literature in terms of development of the Windkessel model by considering its timing and redesigning it with digital electronics perspective.

Abstract
In the paper, a cross-layer optimization between application layer and fabric layer is proposed. The aim is to optimize the end-to-end quality of the dynamic grid application as well as efficiently utilizing the grid resources. The application layer QoS and fabric layer QoS are closely interrelated in Grids since the upper layer service is based on the lower level's capabilities. A fabric level and application level QoS scheduling algorithm is proposed. We formulate the integrated design of resource allocation and user QoS satisfaction control into a constrained optimization problem. The optimization framework provides a layered approach to the sum utility maximization problem. The application layer adaptively adjusts user's resource demand based on the current resource conditions, while the fabric layer adaptively allocates CPU, storage and bandwidth required by the upper layer.

Abstract
The goal of the paper is to create a model for investigating the character of relationships between the freedom and restrictions in the terrorism context, in order to find out how sensitive is the probability of the population survival to small changes in these two parameters. A model for simulating relationships between access to resources and possibility of termination of the population is presented. The model comprises an agent world, its properties, interactions, and a world life cycle algorithm. As the “right” properties and interactions of the model are a question of experimentation, the model is introduced in two steps: a general model and a specific sub-model. Preliminary analysis of results received on a sub-model implementation demonstrate that in certain cases the relationship between the level of access to information and the overall aggressiveness value implying the end of population may has a stepwise character.

Abstract
The amount of products and services available over the Internet increases significantly and it soon becomes beyond users ability to analyze and compare them. At the same time the number of potential customers available via the Internet also increases dramatically and starts to be beyond the service providers ability to perform efficient targeted marketing. A possible way for relaxing the above-mentioned limitations could be in usage of electronic assistants, both for customers and providers. Such assistants may serve as mediators for commercial Internet-based activity. Software agents could play role of such mediators representing customers and providers in the network. In this paper we present our experience and a solution to using agent technology in customer services management for mobile users. The solution is intended to increase granularity and personalization in targeted advertising while ensuring customer privacy. The proposed solution has been implemented in a prototype system for providing services for users of mobile devices.
