Abstract
The selection of waste lubricant oil regenerative technology regarding the complexity of the technologies and financial issues is a complex problem. Some risk factors exist regarding the ratings of technologies on the effective criteria. The current study tackles the selection of the technology based on fuzzy axiomatic design approach considering risk factors. Shannon entropy significance coefficients are computed for criteria. The problem is first solved by considering all criteria and then supplementary solutions are presented by categorizing the criteria to technical and economic groups. Two types of risk factors are identified for the technologies, i.e. general and specific risk factors.

Abstract
The paper analyzes the performance of parallel global optimization algorithm, which is used to optimize grillage-type foundations. The parallel algorithm is obtained by using the automatic parallelization tool. We describe briefly the layer structure of the Master–Slave Template library and present a detailed mathematical formulation of the application problem. Experiments are done on the homogeneous computer cluster of 7 IBM machines RS6000. The results of experiments are presented.

Abstract
This article is an introduction to the simplest mathematical model, which describes the hormone interaction during the menstrual cycle. Modifications of the mathematical model of the menstrual cycle including the mathematical model with the time delay depending on function researched and the mathematical model with the dispersed time delay are researched and described here. A numerical investigation was conducted, during which solutions for the above mentioned models were calculated. The solutions found are compared mutually and with the clinical data.

Abstract
A system of two nonlinear difference-differential equations which is a mathematical model of self-regulation of glucose level in blood with time delay into consideration of insulin “age structure” is presented. The analysis carried out by qualitative and numerical methods allows us to conclude, that the mathematical model explains the functioning of the physiological system “insulin-blood glucose” in normal and pathological cases.

Abstract
The Freudian psychoanalysis in its modern form assumes that activities of a patient depend on his physical and mental state (“energy”), and result in maintaining his life, in useless waste of his energy (“symptoms”), and in (“useful”) contribution to the society and to patient's energy level.
Another contribution to patient's energy level comes from the society. It comprises life amenities, medication, and “education”. Patient's mental state is characterized by two parameters, “symbolic” and “imaginary”. Both parameters affect the outcome of patient activities, and are affected by contributions to his “energy”.
A mathematical description of this model as a dynamical system is presented. Significance of obtained solutions for psychoanalysis is discussed.
